Pine View educates the leaders, thinkers and creators of tomorrow.

Pine View School is the embodiment of collaboration by and between a collection of visionary educators, administrators, parents and students.

Pine View began in 1968, defined as a “program” for high achieving students.  For more than 40 years, we have provided a differentiated curriculum for exceptionally gifted students in Sarasota County.

Over the past 40 years, Pine View School has weathered the fiscal challenges of the economy, decreased funding due to County, State and Federal budget cuts as well as continuous dialog regarding Sarasota County’s need for a institution designed to educate high achieving gifted students.

The Pine View Foundation was created more than 20 years ago to ensure the continued success of Pine View School.

The Foundation provides financial support for educational and cultural programs; we assist our teachers by providing the opportunity to take advantage of highly developed, sophisticated training programs, both locally and nationally.  

In turn, this allows us to continue to provide an exceptional education, designed to meet the specific requirements of our students.
